Many times we glamorize the lives of the people in the Bible, yet the pages of Scripture are filled with stories of real people facing real challenges. We also see in every story that God is working in all circumstances for the ultimate good of his people (Rom. 8:28). This is how the story of Joseph ends, with the revelation that all that was intended for evil, God intended for good (Gen. 50:20) We will use this truth as a filter through which to relate our present circumstances to the incredible story of redemption written into Joseph’s life.
