Paul’s letter to the church at Rome contains his most systematic and comprehensive explanation of the gospel, which means ‘good news.’ This gospel is God’s offer of salvation which comes by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. This experience of being in Christ offers us peace with God, adoption into his family, a new way of living, and the hope of the resurrection. In a world filled with bad news, may we become good news people through the new life found in Christ alone.
