Rhythms of Grace

This sermon series will begin in Genesis and end in Revelation, looking at some of the most significant biblical passages that help us build and develop a robust theology of work and rest. We will see that both work and rest are modeled, blessed, and commanded by God. Both preceded the fall and will continue in heaven. These rhythms of grace are a means of glorifying God and enjoying him forever. We hope you will join us and invite a friend to fill the house!

From Series: "Growing in Grace"

Peter knew firsthand the experience of “falling from grace.” Not in a sense of losing his salvation, but certainly failing to live in a manner worthy of the gospel. In the gospels, we observe him talking when he should have been listening; sleeping when he should have been praying; and denying when he should have been testifying. Yet Peter also knew the experience of being restored by grace. His own experience led him to encourage other believers, through this letter, to believe that through God’s power we have been given everything we need for a godly life (1:3). Growing in grace requires intentional formation, remembering what we have been taught, and resisting beliefs and practices which are unbiblical. Join us in this series as we grow together.
