Special Needs Ministry
The Kirk feels that God created everyone to be loved and to worship him. Therefore, we have developed a unique special needs ministry that allows children and adults who are developmentally or physically disabled and their families to attend church activities.

The Special Needs Ministry at Kirk of the Hills is dedicated to serving children, youth and adults with disabilities (cognitive, physical and mental illness) and their families. We are also committed to serving as a witness to the community for meeting the needs of the disabled person both spiritually and socially. It is a privilege and direct call from God to reach out to those in our church, community and the world who are impaired because it represents the very heart of God. We are committed no just to serve these individuals but to empower them to become vital members of the body of Christ. We will focus on helping our typical congregation along with our friends with disabilities grows together in love for each other as well as all of us growing our love and service to God.

Just as each of us has one body
with many members, and these members
do not have the same function,
so In Christ
we who are
many form one body,
and each member belongs to all the others.
