Kirk of the Hills Deacon’s Fund is a program designed to help individuals experiencing short-term financial difficulties. The ultimate goal of this program is to show Christ’s love by meeting tangible needs. The Deacon’s Fund program assists hard-working individuals encountering an unexpected financial obligation or sudden loss of income; hospitalization, death in the family, temporary unemployment, etc. This program is made possible by generous donations of time and money. If you are in need of assistance you may apply between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please bring any bills, cutoff notices or other documentation you think may assist the deacons in their decision making. We encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible. Our process takes 7 to 14 days to complete. Therefore, if you currently have a utility cutoff or eviction notice due within the next two weeks, we may be unable to assist you.
Due to limited resources we regret that we cannot help all applicants, but we do prayerfully consider each request.
