Women's Ministry

At the Kirk we know women like to gather together, so we provide many opportunities for them to do so. More information coming soon..

Kirk Women's Ministry Information

We have groups for women of all ages, with kids, without kids, married, divorced, single and widowed.

There are small groups and large group events, fellowship and service, whatever you need we have a group for you. All these events center around growing in our faith and our love for each other, becoming the women of faith God created us to be.

A woman who fears and reverences God shall be greatly praised.
Proverbs 31:30

PWOK

Presbyterian Women of the Kirk (PWOK)-

PWOK circles offer women a supportive environment to encourage each other in faith through friendship, fellowship, prayer and Bible study. Also, circles support a variety of local and church-wide missions. Circles are open to all women of the Kirk and there is no fee or membership requirement to join. Friends are always welcome.

"Stitchers Needed"
Sacred Stitches is now meeting on the first Tuesday of each month, from 10:30-12:00 noon in Room B-13.  During that time, you may stop by and pick up sewing to do at home, or return sewn items that you have been working on at home.  We currently have dozens of tote bag "kits" cut and ready to be sewn.  These bags will be sent with our  short-term mission teams to be distributed to women in different countries.  The kits come with detailed instructions, and the bags are very simple to sew (beginner-level).  We will have other sewing projects available in the future.  If you cannot pick up sewing projects during the times specified, please contact Linda Hertensteiner (SuperMomH@cox.net) and we will arrange for other pick-up times.  Thank you!
