Host Site for The Truth Project Simulcast
September 27, 2008
Mark your calendars! On Saturday, September 27, 2008 the Kirk will host The Truth Project Simulcast. This live event will be sent by satellite to over 250 churches in the United States and Canada. The goal is to train 75,000 Truth Project small group leaders in one day! For more information please click here
There are several ways that you can be involved:
-
If you would like to be trained as a Truth Project Small Group Leader, attend this one-day seminar and receive your own personal DVD curriculum. The Early Bird registration cost is $99/individual or $129/couple. Tickets can be purchased by calling Tammy Gill at 494-7088 x241. (The price of the DVD when ordered from Focus on the Family is $79.00 plus $6.50 shipping cost but you cannot order the DVD without the training.)
- If you have already participated in a Truth Project Small Group, we would love to have you help us as a volunteer on September 27th. We will need greeters, a hospitality team, help with registration and the resource table. To be a part of this exciting day, contact Tammy Gill at 494-7088 x241 and let her know where you would like to serve. If you are not available on September 27th, you could help with the administrative tasks involved in organizing this huge event.
- In order to make this training event a success, it is imperative that we reach other churches and share our passion for the message of The Truth Project with them. If you have friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, or other acquaintances that have not yet experienced the Truth Project, please invite them to attend this Simulcast on September 27th. They can purchase their tickets from Tammy at The Kirk or from The Truth Project website www.thetruthproject.org. Word of mouth is the best advertising possible and we know that many of you have experienced personal transformation as a result of The Truth Project. Please be a “world-changer” and help us introduce others to the Truth.
- If you would like to pick up some postcards that you can hand out to others as you tell them about The Truth Project, please visit Grand Central and pick up this valuable resource.
God has prepared us as a church to be the ambassadors of the Truth. Please pray for The Truth Project staff, the Kirk staff, the participants who will attend the simulcast all over the United States and Canada, and for our volunteers. We may not know each of these people by name, but God does!

We hope you will be a part of this exciting opportunity to share God’s love with a child in need.
It’s easy to get started. Pick out a shoe box and wrap it with brightly colored Christmas paper (remember to wrap the lid separately from the box) or purchase an inexpensive plastic box with a removable lid. Go to your favorite discount store and purchase items that fit in your box. Include a $7.00 check to cover shipping fees.
